Harbour Town to join Tourism Australia at AIME

Harbour Town has been selected as one of only five partners to exhibit at the exclusive Tourism Australia stand at the 2011 Asia Pacific Incentive and Meetings Expo (AIME) – providing international exposure for Australia’s home of outlet shopping.

Harbour Town will be allocated a meeting area within the Tourism Australia stand to accommodate Harbour Town tourism representatives, signage and branding at the event to be held in Melbourne in February.

“While we have always exhibited at AIME, being selected as a Tourism Australia stand partner at this premier event will allow us to showcase Harbour Town centres to quality buyers from throughout the Asia Pacific region and expose us to additional passing traffic,” Harbour Town National Tourism and Marketing Manager Angela Gore says.

Harbour Town has become aware of a Chinese company claiming to sell genuine UGG Australia boots online on behalf of Harbour Town on the Gold Coast.

Please note that Harbour Town does not sell any products online and has no connection whatsoever with this company.

Harbour Town strengthens ties with inbound tourism

Harbour Town is set to strengthen its relationship with inbound tourism operators after becoming a 12-month Premium Corporate Partner of the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) – Australia’s peak industry body representing the tourism export sector.

The partnership with ATEC will see Harbour Town receive exposure at major national trade events including ATEC Meeting Place 2010 and ATEC Symposium 2011, and give Harbour Town access to ATEC’s membership database to generate new business opportunities.

Harbour Town launches new TV Campaign

Harbour Town - Australia’s leading outlet and specialty shopping destination – has unveiled its latest national TV advertising campaign ‘there’s no town like it’ created by Adelaide advertising and marketing company JAM.

Promoting the Harbour Town’s four centres on the Gold Coast, in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide, the campaign centres on a fictional town set on a harbour, with its architecture consisting of enormous shopping bags that display retail offerings and appear as buildings to form a city skyline.
